The centre point of The Saxon is the bar, with its warm and friendly atmosphere ready to receive you whatever the occasion. Homely log fires in the winter and access to an appealing covered patio and beer garden in the summer make for an enjoyable tipple whatever the weather.

We serve an excellent range of Cask Conditioned beers from local breweries throughout the year. The house beers are Butcombe Best and Ringwood Best, which are supported by guests from ‘The Hidden Brewery’, ‘Palmers’ of Bridport, ‘Otter Ales’ of Devon and ‘Goddard’s’ from the Isle of White to name but a few.
Of course, its not just ales we stock, we also offer a select range of world class wines from our local vintner, guaranteeing a wine for every occasion and a price and quality hard to better. We also stock a wide range of spirits and liquors, and for the non drinker, a healthy selection of soft drinks.
