Hello and welcome to The Saxon Inn. This lovely old Dorset Freehouse nestles in the picturesque village of Child Okeford, set amongst the captivating landscape of the Blackmore Vale. Cosy log fires, warm, rustic atmosphere and traditional values are what await you upon your visit.

Run by Peter and Helen Turner since Spring 2003, the bar area has been sympathetically extended to allow for more room for drinkers and diners alike. Upstairs, you will find four brand new En-suite Bed and Breakfast rooms which have been affectionately brought to life by Helen. Outside you can take in the air with our new ‘Alfresco’ seating and dining area, following on to a large beer garden.
